Passionate thoughts about the world of writing and the Power of God

Thoughts can drive us crazy sometimes. Other times we wish we could think of something constructive to address a problem, contribute to a conversation, or translate our thoughts to creative word choices "on paper" or screen. Thoughts can be relentless, bent on processing or reviewing or reacting to situations we didn't anticipate. Do we wish to be a problem solver or a mighty eraser? Are those two things often the same?

What stimulates our thinking and what do we wish didn't do just that?

Are we faithful to think on good things or do we rehash the less pleasant, the bad, our ignoble memories?

What are your Thursday thoughts?

. . .

Father, help me to put my thinking to good use, to focus on those things you have for me to consider. Apart from you, I can do nothing. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

My thought for the day may be partially tongue-in-cheek but I’m actually serious too. I’d like to think of a way to cast a magic spell over the country to reverse the trend. Instead of 90% evening people and 10% morning people (as evidenced by lack of things that cater to morning people) I would like to switch people’s thoughts and biorhythms around so that morning people have a plethora of choices. i.e. gyms that are open and hold classes for morning people, bookstores and libraries open for morning people, etc. Let’s switch it up and give the other side a chance for a while. 😎

Hear! Hear! I hate waiting for things to open, but I will say there are several 24 hr. gyms around here. Here’s to morning people! Clink!
