New Year’s Eve at about 10 PM I finished my 7th novel. Wow. I love the rush of writing the last few words. The smile feels so good. Exciting to close a year out with a newly completed novel.
The truth is I should have completed two, but the 6th novel is almost done and waiting for completion. This one interrupted and demanded to be written, and for reasons which would seem silly to most, I was so frustrated writing the 6th one, I was glad to let it go for awhile. If the Lord takes me back to it with a fresh mind, I’ll get it done because it’s really close to the end of it.
Anyway, thank you, Lord, for allowing me another story to write. This one was primarily written in first person, a new approach for me, and one I’m not usually quick to like when I read. But it had to be told this way, so praise the Lord! It’s a thrill, you know?
God Almighty, I praise you with my whole heart. You are so generous and gracious to me. Thank you for allowing me to write. Thank you for the stories you’ve given to me to tell. Thank you for every opportunity you give me to share them. I put my hope in you, Lord. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
