Into the Fire

I took great care in the writing of Seeing . . . because of the sensitive subject matter. While it’s the story of a man who becomes a widower at a very young age, it’s also the story of a truck-stop waitress whose life was ruined at the tender age of four.

Micah has been gifted with “seeing” the human condition in an assortment of people, strangers mostly. At first, it’s just a word of description, but then he sees pictures of what has happened to them. As startling as that is for him, it’s his cue from the Lord to pray for them even when it’s doubtful he’ll learn the outcome of his prayers. What happens after “seeing” Bonita leads to the totally unexpected – and trials neither of them expected to experience.
