Into the Fire

Those of you aimlessly checking out the blogosphere on this day after Christmas, I hope yours was a wonderful, especially fulfilling day. I always try to gain new insights into the incredible event, and this particular year what has been dubbed “Mary’s song” touched my heart in a fresh way. That obedience factor keeps asserting itself. How utterly awesome to be able to say to the Lord, “May it be unto me as you have said.” Then to go and do it!

Looking forward: three gentleman authors will be gracing the columns of this blog come January. James Scott Bell, John Robinson, and Robert Liparulo will be here to answer the questions posed to them. If you have a specific question for any of these authors, leave your question(s) in the “comments” section this week, and I’ll try to include them in the interview. Father, thank you for another beautiful Christmas story, for once again revealing your heart to me. Your love is immeasurable, gut-wrenching, and intricate. I cannot express my feeble love to you enough although it pales in comparison. Please, Lord, help me, I literally cry out to you, help me to be more like you. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
